Foster (Short term or long term)

If you have a spare room, some love to give, and a little patience, you could make all the difference for a cat or kitten. It gives them a break from the shelter environment and allows us to learn more about their personalities so we can find them the perfect home. It also opens up space at the Sanctuary so we can keep rescuing. We have single kittens, litters of kittens, single adult cats, pregnant mom cats, nursing mothers with kittens, and more available to foster depending on your preferences. Volunteer

Looking for a way to give back? The Ark Cat Sanctuary is now accepting volunteers in Flagstaff at our PetSmart adoption center- even just a couple hours a week can make a big difference. Volunteer duties may include:
• Cleaning and kennel care
• Socializing cats and kittens
• Helping with adoptions
• Decorating for adoption events
• Assisting with laundry
