Adopt a feline friend
Most of our adoptions happen at our adoption counter in the Flagstaff PetSmart store on Plaza Drive in Flagstaff- come on by to meet our adoptable cats and kittens! We typically have 20-30 cats at the store on any given day.
You can also check our adoptable cats on Petfinder. * Please note adoptions at PetSmart typically go pretty fast so it's hard to keep our Petfinder listings updated.
We also have many other cats at the Sanctuary looking for homes also (older kitties, kitties with dietary restrictions, disabilities, etc). Why Adopt From the Ark Cat Sanctuary?
1) We are a privately run nonprofit (which means we don't get any money from the City or County to help us operate). We depend on donations, grants and adoption fees to keep our rescue running! By adopting from us you're helping free up space AND keep the Ark Cat Sanctuary running so we can keep saving more cats and kittens.
2) All our adoptable cats and kittens come already spayed or neutered, microchipped and current on their rabies and combo vaccines. The adoption fees we charge are actually less than it would cost to have these services done on your own locally. In addition we care for cats and kittens (for weeks, months, or even years sometimes) and get them the medical care they need (if they are sick or injured) until they are healthy and ready to find their forever families.
So in summary, our adoption fees are a deal! You get a vetted cat or kitten AND help us keep rescuing more cats and kittens with nowhere else to go.
